Dear You,
It amazes me how the same topic can unfold in so many ways, simply because of the energy and presence of the one you’re in dialogue with.
I really had to adjust during the conversation, and it’s shown all over my face. I didn’t expect this to be a discussion in which I had to advocate for the presence of emotions in men in the first place! But it was an interesting challenge!
For me, emotions, feelings and intuition are such a normal part of our daily life, I can only imagine us to be robots when it weren’t for emotions. Yes, they can cause pain, but they also enrich us with experiences as joy, love, gratitude, wonder and the feeling of relaxation after a stressy day that kept us going! And then I’m not even touched on the depth of looking at the world from an energetic perspective, because that’s also only possible because of the influence of the force that created our feeling equipment…
There is so much depth in this remarkable tool! So many layers to explore and discover…
But let me finish the story I started with…
A few days later, I met another man — someone who instantly resonated with the emotional depth I was referring to. It reminded me that we’re all in different stages of awareness, and that every conversation is a reflection of that.
This anekdotes isn’t about who’s right or wrong, it’s about how emotions land differently depending on the space we’re in and the space we’re met in.
If anything, this dialogue challenged me to stay present, compassionate, and clear, even when our perspectives didn’t meet. And maybe that’s the deeper invitation here: to keep feeling, even when it’s uncomfortable.
I’d love to hear how it lands with you, will you share it with me in our free community?
