Ever got stuck because you were interrupted in your flow? That annoying mood that can spoil your whole day if you don’t stop it in time… Well, let’s dive into what really caused that feeling and what it wants to tell you.Frustration has everything to do with a blockage of one of the driving forces of our energetic system. Emotiongroup anger. This emotion group is a very useful and therefore also positive force when it comes to getting things done.
When you are tuned into a constructive flow, picked up a goal and set it into action, you can move mountains. But when this flow gets interrupted, and your doing-energy cannot go out anymore, it builds itself up inside of you as frustration. For example, when you have to wait for someone and it takes more than expected, and you hold yourself back for that.
Like I did yesterday, when the window cleaner was supposed to arrive by noon, but kept me waiting for one and a half hours. While ‘suffering’ from this disturbing emotion, I chose to sit with it and find a way to calm it.
The first thing you need to know, when it comes to handling emotions, is that acknowledging them is half of the solution. We often only want to get rid of the negative ones and that seldom works well.
So, sitting with it, is a form of acknowledgment that immediately eases the discomfort of the emotion.
Next we need to listen to the emotion. Frustration was blocked doing energy, so the doing part also needs to be addressed. Acknowledged, parked, but as soon as it’s possible, acted on and thus used for action!
Instead of fighting against the course of events, I put my focus on deepening the. preparations for the action to come… Mmm That felt good!

I wish you an active and productive day!
