Code of Conduct – Emotion Codex B.V.

At Emotion Codex B.V., we believe in creating a space that encourages emotional honesty, safety, growth, and connection. Our Code of Conduct outlines the principles and expectations that guide how we interact as a community – whether through our courses, events, forums, or other services.

1. Core Values

We ask all participants, visitors, and members to embrace the following values:

2. Expected Conduct

By participating in any Emotion Codex environment, you agree to:

• Communicate mindfully and constructively
• Honour others’ boundaries and privacy
• Refrain from hate speech, harassment, or discrimination of any kind
• Avoid disruptive or disrespectful behavior
• Use inclusive and respectful language
• Report violations or safety concerns appropriately

3. Unacceptable Behaviour

Examples of behaviour that will not be tolerated:

• Personal attacks, name-calling, or bullying
• Sharing someone else’s personal story without consent
• Sexual harassment or inappropriate comments
• Spamming, self-promotion, or solicitation outside approved channels

4. Consequences

Violation of this Code may result in:

• A private warning
• Removal of content
• Temporary suspension from forums or services
• Permanent ban, in cases of serious or repeated violations

We reserve the right to take appropriate action without prior warning if necessary to preserve safety and integrity.

5. Forum Guidelines

To foster a safe and respectful environment among our students, we’ve created an online forum guideline and terms and conditions that you can follow as we continue to improve our services to provide you with seamless experiences.

Our team has created a concise guideline for you to keep in mind when creating, attending live events, or connecting with others in the forums.

So, what are these Online Forum Guidelines?

These forum guidelines help us maintain a safe, respectful, and productive environment for members of our forum.

1. Be respectful:
   Treat others with kindness, empathy, and respect, regardless of differences in opinions or backgrounds.
2. No harassment:
   We prohibit any form of harassment, hate speech, or bullying.
3. No spamming:
   Do not share irrelevant or excessive self-promotion or advertisements.
4. No illegal activity:
   We prohibit any illegal or unethical activities, including but not limited to copyright infringement and fraud.
5. Maintain privacy:
   Respect the privacy of others and do not share personal information without consent.
6. Keep it clean:
   Avoid explicit or offensive content, including vulgar language and hate speech.
7. Be constructive:
   Provide constructive feedback and criticism in a positive and respectful manner.
8. Be open-minded:
   Be open to new ideas and perspectives and respect the opinions of others.
9. No discussions related to politics, sexual orientation, gender, race, or religion:
   Maintain a safe and respectful environment.
